CULTUREFLY BLACK FRIDAY 2020 CAMPAIGN
Black Friday/Cyber Monday in 2020 was one of the most competitive advertising times it has ever been. Since most people were shopping online due to the pandemic, it was super important that we made our ads stand out. I had a grand idea for a marketing campaign but had to work through the struggles of delayed production times and limited office time due to the pandemic, but I made it work! And this was our most successful Black Friday/Cyber Monday Campaign ever.



Since production was still delayed to the pandemic, I had to plan way ahead of time to get approved and final samples of all of our shipping boxes for this campaign. Usually, we use renderings of the boxes in our ads because of the time crunch there is between getting everything sampled and approved before we ship the boxes to customers, but I made my case for how important it was to have these physical samples for our Black Friday photoshoot.









I directed every phase of this project. My designers helped me find the props necessary, wrap the boxes, and learn how to tie the perfect bow. But when it came down to the actual shoot, we had some difficulties getting to the office because of the pandemic. I ended up having to photograph almost all of these photos on my own. it was a huge task to do by myself, but I made it work! We then spent a few days editing and retouching all of the photographs and I came up with some fun headlines for each. (My favorite being the cheesy, Did someone say BOGO? lol) In the end, all of our graphics came out amazing and really popped out on people's social media feeds, helping make this our most successful Black Friday/Cyber Monday EVER! :)
